Some of Miss Vietnam of Northern California Intercollegiate’s Princesses and former contestants had the honor to be a part of this year’s 2nd Annual Ao Dai Festival again on September 15th held at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. The annual festival brought forth cultural awareness and celebrated Vietnam’s most famous traditional attire, the ao dai. Sponsored by The Friends of Hue Foundation and the GreenRice Foundation, money raised will be given to help The Friends of Hue Foundation, which funds for victims of natural disasters in Central Vietnam. The main show featured many internationally acclaimed fashion designers: Minh Hanh, Ella Viet, Si Hoang, Quang Chanh, Duc Hung, Danielle Do and Debbie Nghiem.
