The Annual Community & Family Resource Fair this year was held at James Denman Middle School on Saturday, April 6th in San Francisco. The OMI/Excelsior Beacon Center partnered with James Denman to organize this event to provide information from a variety of organizations and programs to local families. MVNCI 2013 court was excited to be a part of this event. The staff were so kind and friendly. Pageant Night Experience

March 3rd 2013 was our big day! I felt really nervous, happy and my heart was beating very fast! I can’t believe how time flies and after months of training the big day finally came! We arrived at the Campbell Heritage Theater at 9.30AM and practiced until 3.40PM. Then the show started and everything went by so fast. I was really glad that I had so many lovely supporters cheering on for me and all of my sisters performed so well! I am really proud of all of you accomplished young ladies! The Golden Hearts Club

On March 22nd, Miss Vietnam Of Northern California Intercollegiate 2013 had the honor of attending a charitable event called the Golden Hearts Club which is hosted by Jessica Tran at Dynasty restaurant. Jessica Tran is a young proactive Vietnamese woman who dreams of helping the unfortunate in countries like Cambodia and Vietnam. Annually, she puts together a beautiful dinner and show to collect donations and raise awareness for families in need. What a night! I woke up on Monday morning and was still in shock that it has all happened so quickly over Sunday night. Everything was so magical! March 3rd, 2013 was definitely a night to remember with all 14 beautiful ladies who competed for the title of Miss Vietnam of Northern California – Intercollegiate 2013. After months of practices and workshops, we finally were able to step on stage and showcase ourselves.
