Hally Hong is 20 years old from Milpitas, California. She is currently attending San Jose State University, studying Business Administration with an emphasis on Accounting. Her goals are to achieve a bachelor’s degree in accounting and to one day work in a big firm.
In high school, she helped organize a “Senior Prom” for senior citizens to have fun and reminisce their younger days. Hally was a member in the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) club for three years where she participated in the Mid-Autumn Festival Competition, Annual Culture Show, and other philanthropy work. Outside the VSA club, she fulfilled many hours of community service volunteering at various organizations like Family Giving Tree and Relay for Life. She joined Cross Country for 1 year and the Tahitian Dance Club for 2 years.
During college, she joined the San Jose State University Vietnamese Student Association (SJSU VSA) club and Sigma Omicron Pi sorority. Like in high school, she participated in SJSU VSA’s Annual Culture Show promoting and showcasing the Vietnamese culture through various acts from dancing to modeling the áodài. Through Sigma Omicron Pi sorority, she actively participated in many philanthropy opportunities such as handing out food to poor families, tutoring children, and helped creating a “Suessical Birthday Party” for children at the King Library to enjoy art crafts and games based on the book, “Dr. Seuss.”
She enjoys spending time with loved ones, eating, and shopping.She also likes to watch movies, play badminton, and run with friends.
