Agnes Liong is contestant #2, representing the Vietnamese-German heritage in Union City, Northern California. She comes from a multi-cultural family, as she is part German, Vietnamese and Indonesian-Chinese and hence she can speak 3 languages fluently.
She recently graduated with Dean’s List and Honors program, Magna Cum-Laude standing from California State University East Bay, B.Sc. in Business Administration, Finance and Marketing, minoring in International Business. During her academic journey, she achieved several awards, such as “Best Business Student”, “Best English Student”, and “Most Influential Person of the Year” as well as “The Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key” for the highest-ranking undergraduate senior student in Business Administration. She also balanced her academic accomplishments with volunteer and extra-curricular opportunities. She was the Financial Manager for The International Students Association, Inter Club Council Representative for Alpha Beta Gamma as well as Financial Committee for Phi Beta Lambda. Moreover, she also loves to give back and share her time, dedication and resources by being a regular volunteer at the Alameda County Food Bank as well as the San Francisco Regional Park.
Agnes is also a model for Paul Mitchell, Oribe Hair Care, SkinFood Cosmetics and several other brands and is also about to launch her own fashion line. She enjoys travelling with her family and friends, learning new languages, singing, designing and volunteering. Her goal is to put an end to identity-based bullying by becoming a certified “No Bully” trainer as well as create ad campaigns to enforce a universal anti-bullying law mandatory in all states.
Her most memorable yet challenging experience was when she moved from Asia to Germany all by herself when she was 8. She did not know anyone or the language; however she worked hard, learned the German language in 5 months and was able to help support her family back in Asia.
