The Vietnamese American Cultural Center celebrated their first anniversary on March 17, at Phu Lam Chinese Restaurant, and invited Hoa Khoi Lien Truong to attend and participate in the event. Members of the old and new courts, as well as friends and former contestants joined Miss Vietnam Sacramento in modeling designers (and singers) Tuong Nguyen‘s and Truong Khue‘s Ao Dai collection, which was successfully auctioned to the audience to fundraise for the VACC. The event was emceed by Viet Dzung, Ha Van, and Huynh Hon.
Afterwards, HKLT met up with former contestants for a yummy reunion at Powderface in San Jose. The beignets were delicious!
